Växjösjön is the most central lake in Växjö, and from the bathing place you have a 5 minute walk to shops, cafés and restaurants. The lagoon's bathing area is on the western shore of Växjösjön, with a toilet nearby. You can bring your stroller here, there is a barbecue area and parking nearby. In addition, Strandbjörket's playground is close to the bathing area, as are tennis courts and large lawns. If you want to combine swimming with a walk, running or cycling tour, this is excellent as the loop around lake Växjösjön is close to the bathing area. Just south of Strandbjörket there is also a swimming spot for dogs.
