On this scenic bike path, you will tread on both quiet car-free forest roads and on the abandoned embankment. Everything in environments near the lakes. Take a break in Åsnen's national park or stop for an ice cream and a swim in the lake.
Enjoy an approximately 140 km long cycle path in the beautiful surroundings of Lake Åsnen. You will pedal through both Växjö and Alvesta but also smaller towns such as Ingelstad, Urshult and Torne. More than half the route is completely car-free as parts of the trail run on old railway banks. Several unique natural and cultural environments are passed on the lap around beautiful Åsnen. Among other things, Sweden's latest national park and several nature reserves and Huseby mill.
