The building was first used as a hotel in the 18th century, when people came here for recreation and health treatments. The house has been renovated several times, the last time in 2009. Most rooms have their own washing basin. Toilet and showers are located in all corridors. Guests share showers, kitchen and TV room. Self-caterer accommodation, but breakfast can be booked optionally. Smoking is forbidden on the whole property.

Evedal offers a lush park area and sandy shores by the lake Helgasjön, where you can also find a diving tower and a bathing jetty. There are beautiful paths for leisurely strolls, a minigolf course, and bike and canoe rentals. Free outdoor parking. Good bus connections into the city.
