Just north of Växjö, along the shores of Lake Helgasjön, is where the leisure area of Evedal is located, originally a spa resort from the 18th century.

Here you find lovely beaches, bathing places with accessibility for wheelchairs, a marina, a ramp that can be rented to launch your boat, canoe rental, miniature golf, football pitches, a hostel, restaurants and a camp site.

The camp site, which has 4 stars, has camping places and cottages which are open all year round. The hostel with self catering kitchen and breakfast service is also open throughout the year.
