Burial site between Braås and Eke. The area has served as a graveyard for the people in a nearby village during the time 500-1050 AD.
Burial site between Braås and Eke. The area has served as a graveyard for the people in a nearby village during the time 500-1050 AD. Nearby, there is a stone circle which consist of 9 stones.
The graveyard is located on a moraine ridge, near Drättingesjön on the border between the parishes of Dädesjö and Drev. It consists of 17 piles. Most of the mounds are between 7 and 15 meters in diameter, except a couple of bigger mounds which are 25 and 19 meters wide. Because of treasure hunting and agriculture, many of the graves are not intact.
A smaller grave was examined in the end of the 19th century. The findings consisted of burnt bones, pieces of a crock and fragments of iron.
